The Oranienburger Herbst Cup 2026 is the first tournament in the Oranienburg Grand Prix series. Five rounds are played in 6-player groups on 17 and 18 October 2026; official registration is open.

Oranienburger Herbst Cup 2026: 6-player groups, everyone plays everyone (round-robin) · Rounds: 5 · Time control: 75 minutes plus 30 seconds per move · Rating: DWZ + FIDE

The FIDE Laws of Chess in their current version apply.

The entry fee is fully refunded until one week before the tournament; after that, 20% is retained. Without cancellation, the full entry fee is due.

Places are assigned in registration order; a waitlist is used thereafter.

Games involving a player rated 2400+ Elo may not be FIDE-rated; DWZ rating remains unaffected.

Changes to venue, date and format are reserved.

The tournament is submitted for DWZ and Elo rating; FIDE rating may not apply if a player rated 2400+ Elo participates.

Series standings prize fund
The season-end Grand Prix standings announce 1,000, 750 and 500 euros for places 1 to 3, plus 150 euros each for U18, the best female player, seniors and the Elo categories below 1950 and below 1700.
