Open Chess960 Team Championship 2026/2027: Chess960 team competition over four playdays with seven rounds and three double rounds · Rounds: 7 · Time control: 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment per move
The team with the most points from all sixteen games wins; team points are shared in case of a tie.
The FIDE Laws of Chess apply.
A team consists of four players; a player may be registered and play for only one team during the season.
In each team match, all teams receive the same new starting position.
Only one team match is scheduled on the first playday due to time constraints; double rounds are planned on the three later Saturdays.
